Hi, I’m Els, and I live in Frankfurt am Main. I work here as a scientist at the Max Planck Institute and in my free time, I love to go out on beautiful days like today to photograph birds, landscapes, and the wildlife. I also love to travel, especially to remote places. Next to my own science, that I do in the lab, I also have a passion for ecology and conservation biology. And when I saw this expedition, I was immediately interested. I would love to see the science behind the conservation efforts that are being made for the flora and fauna in Kyrgyzstan, especially for the snow leopard.
